Team Slytherin!

I have a new obsession. ONLINE BOGGLE. It's so great, especially at work, because you can all be on a team and no one has to know that you aren't REALLY working! Plus it's addicting. I personally like the 5x5 board. If you want to play and be on my team, go to http://www.wordsplay.net. It will ask you for your e-mail and you will set up a password. I am team Slytherin! (The exclamation mark is part of the team name). If you want to play sometime with me during the day, text me and we can play together. My co-workers will probably be playing too and we will get more points. Oh, I love it! :)

I've been tagged....

Wow 2 blogs in 1 day! I was reading Meagan's blog and I saw that I was tagged to give 5 random facts about me. Ok...here we go!

1. I can't eat the last bite on my plate. No matter how much is on my plate, if its a snack, whatever. My body decides its full and I can never eat the last bite. Weird, I know.

2. I have a weird obsession with shows on Bravo. Don't ask me why, but I am addicted. Even things that I wouldn't think I would be interested in...I am hooked. The latest obsession is the Real Housewives of NYC.

3. I can't study in a room if it's dirty. So when I go to try and study, it turns into a housecleaning session instead of studying.

4. I can't turn left! No just kidding. I love IKEA! I could shop online there all day long!

5. I actually LIKE my job and like to work overtime. I know...I'm a freak.

I now tag....Tiersha, Mom, and Aunt Melanie!

The REAL Birthday...

Josh's birthday was on the 14th, so we went out to Chili's for his birthday. I forgot how much I like that place. Josh got the Monterey Chicken and he really liked that, and I got the Chicken Club tacos and those were great! If you are going to Chili's anytime soon, we reccomend those! Anyways Josh loved his lego cake and his presents! He said it was the best tasting cake he has ever had! Yeah, I made it from scratch. I was pretty proud of it. Here is the final product...

For those of you who would like the recipe, here it is!

Moist Chocolate Cake

Place in bowl:
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda

Mix evenly at low speed. Add:
1 c. vegetable oil
1 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 c. boiling water

Mix well and bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes ( I baked mine around 35 minutes but those of you at lower altitudes may have to watch and see since baking times are different ).
This makes a large cake or a 9x13 cake and some cupcakes. I put one half in a round dish and then put the other half in another round dish to stack on top of each other and it turned out perfect.

Enjoy!!!

Josh's BIRTHDAY!

Josh's birthday is on Friday and I am pretty excited, and since he doesn't read this I can say what I got him. I got him a new XBOX game, XBOX live, a headset, a card with 4000 Microsoft points (I guess you download games that way??? Who knows.), a new BB gun with the pellets and the CO2 cartridges, and the stuff to make the greatest cake of all time. Josh is still a 12 year old at heart in the fact that he is OBSESSED with legos. When I say obsessed, I'm talking about boxes upon boxes of legos at his house that I won't let him take here, wanting to go to the lego factory, and wishing I got him legos for Christmas instead of the XBOX 360 (not that he doesn't love that). Anyways, I got these little toy legos to go on the top of his cake. It's gonna be great. I just hope he doesn't try to convince me to let him keep his legos at our house again...
