No matter how bad things get, you always have something to be thankful for.

Sorry to everyone, I haven't posted in a while. Life has been pretty busy and throwing some curveballs at Josh and I. Josh and I were looking at buying some property around town and they ran a credit check on us. Josh and I both have really really good credit and have been approved for everything that we apply for at really good interest rates. Well, the mortgage company ran a credit check on us (and keep in mind, we got it ran 2 weeks prior and it was great) and the guy said that I had a collection on my credit. I told him that there was no way, so he told me the name of the company. I got a free credit report through equifax and it had the name and telephone number of the company who was charging me this 250 dollar fee. I called them up and come to find out, this OLD US bank account that I had back in 2005 had overdrafted and it had just been reported last month. I had closed that account that year and got like 7 dollars back and just switched back to my Bank of America account. The problem is that, I don't have any proof of this. So, I went into US Bank today and talked to the manager, and there is nothing they are going to do for me. I have never gotten any letters in the mail about the account, I even had changed my address with the post office, I never got any phone calls, ANYTHING. So, I'm pretty upset. All day long, I had been feeling sorry for myself, so to make myeslf feel better, I wanted to write down some things that I am really thankful for.

I am really thankful for Josh. He is the most amazing person ever and always knows how to make me feel better about anything. He is a good person and I am so lucky to have him.

I am thankful for my mom and mother-in-law. They both listen really well and make me really happy.

I am thankful for my dad. He is the my voice of reason when I am being irrational.

I am thankful for my 2 brothers and my 2 sisters.

I am thankful for awesome friends who randomly come over and make my day, or friends that call me and make me laugh.

I am grateful that Josh and I both have great jobs.

I am grateful to have the church in my life.

I am grateful for so many other things that would take forever to list.

Moral of the story: Life throws curveballs at you that are hard or impossible to be prepared for. But, no matter how bad things get, they can always get worse. So, be thankful for what you have!

P.S. We got a surprise 70 dollar check in the mail, so that made it a little bit better!

Pandora.com is the greatest station ever! You should check it out. It is an internet radio station where you can set up what you like to listen to and make as many stations as you want. You type in what artists you like, and they play those artists, plus ones they think you might like. I have found a lot more groups that I love. Check it out!

My biking plan so far....

It's been great! The first day was really hard because my body is not used to getting up a half an hour early and getting on a bike in the cold. But I really enjoy it now, yeah after three days. Ha. I didn't ride Wednesday or Thursday, because it was SNOWING! Whats the deal with that? Its MAY. But Monday, Tuesday and today (Friday) it has been like 70 degrees. I just don't get it. Oh well. One more week closer to getting my new bike! I just love coming to work feeling great, and I do when I ride. I love the time to think and just pedal to work. Maybe I will have to do it every day of the week! Have I convinced anyone else to do it yet? Probably not...
